I think the Tips need to be elaborated. Frankly saying, I couldn't really understand the sense behind the term ""safely ensconced in your existing position. Can you through some MORE light on this ?

I think Rafi, that he means by "safely ensconced in your existing position" is that once when you feel that you safe and secure in your present job and also, maybe, that you feel you do not have anything more to do or to learn in that job.
Actually, that is the time you start getting bored with your present job when you feel you have nothing new to do. You start looking for a new and interesting venture.
Karthiknath, be a little more descriptive and clear in your statements, when you make them.
Also answer the responders in your thread to clear them of their doubts and to get more points.
