Why not?
Even ISC was not this big in the initaial stages, only when people started contributing more and more ISC became popular and so will IRC. Dont just think of making money alone from IRC. You can participate in the various activities like product submissions (Check product posting guidelines before submiting a product), write reviews (donot copy reviews from other sites, it should be your own, copied reviews will be deleted), create polls, write resources on products. All these activities done by all the members of IRC, will make IRC grow much bigger, and I am sure, active participation from one and all will definitely make this site one stop site for products and their reviews.

I do agree with Anusma, sure IRC will be as popular as ISC.
We have get new ideas to promote IRC as we did for ISC by the way of cash rewards for posting about ISC in different websites or discussion forums, Yahoo answers and Blogs.

Definitely IRC will be more popular then ISC. People have to purchase something daily and they want to know about the products before purchase it. To know about the products they will login to IRC.
Peoples are not much aware of this site because this site is new, when people will know about this site they will login to IRC and get benefited.
