    Mac software: "burn" dvd on macbook

    I have downloaded "Burn" for my Macbook so I can burn a concert onto a DVD. It's a folder with all of the DVD contents inside. I have no trouble adding the folder to the burn list, but the only option I can burn to is MATSHITA CD-RW CW - 8221. Why are there no DVD disc options? I am trying just putting in the disc to see if it will just recognize it, but it spits both DVD+R and DVD-R blanks right back out. Anyone suggest.

    do you usually lean or put any pressure on the area above the slot-load optical drive? If you have anything flat and plastic around 1/4" (about 1/2 the width as a USB plug) stick it in the optical drive until you just feel it going past the door, and rotate 90 degrees so it opens it a little. See attached
