    Netbooks

My friend wants to buy a low-cost netbook with 2GB within Rs.20,000/-. Which would you recommend?

We have been checking out reviews of netbooks, but most seem to heat up quickly and/or have a short battery life. My friend wants a netbook with at least 5-6 hours battery life so that she need not connect it to a power outlet to charge frequently.

Can you suggest a good netbook, preferably one which you have actually used or has been used by somebody you know?

I have been using an HP Mini 110 and so far so good. I took a 3 Cell option and that runs for about 3 hours. I am sure that a 6 cell option would last for at least 7 hours.

    I didn't notice any overheating.

One last word- These screens are too small. If you are working on wide spreadsheets you would want a wider screen

    Hai Vk,
it is depends on your configurations.Large display 15" gives low battery life.14" monitor gives better life hours.life means not given 5-6 hours,no one notebooks(Laptops)has given 5-6 hours. It only give 2 and 2.5 hours just.

I think better core 2 duo processor and 2GB RAM,250 GB Hard disk.It all includes in DELL Voesto.Better product to you with 14" monitor. It cost is only 20000/- only.It gives full of features with Lcd display.Dont prefer Core i3 (Wndows 7).it doesn't support some softwares.

    Best regards
