 The Victoria memorial is a well known Art museum and one of the famous tourist destinations in the city of Kolkata of the West Bengal state in India. Victoria Memorial is a historical Monument of the British Raj and is located just opposite to the Planetarium on the south side of another well known destination, The Maidan of Kolkata.
How to reach Victoria Memorial Hall
You can reach Kolkata International Airport / Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport or the Howrah Railway station . From there you can get Buses and Taxis to go to various points in the city. You can travel through Metro rail and get down at Maidan, the nearest Metro Rail Station to the Victoria Memorial and from Maidan you can also get a bus, auto or taxis to reach the Hall.

You will need about 2 hours to see around the Victoria Memorial Hall. Photography is strictly prohibited and will not be allowed in to the site.
