Saw V is the upcoming fifth installment in the Saw film series. The film is set to be released on October 24, 2008,[2] following the tradition of the Saw films, being released every year on the Friday before Halloween. Unlike the previous three installments, Saw V will not be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, but instead by David Hackl,[3] who was the production designer of Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV.
Additional featuresThe plot details have not yet been revealed, although in an interview with IGN, Patrick Melton revealed that Saw V will explain what happened to Corbett, the daughter of Lynn Denlon and Jeff Reinhart, following the conclusion of Saw III that left her in danger
