 About Hari Niwas Palace
Hari Niwas Palace is situated in Jammu Tawi, in the northern part of India. Hari Niwas Palace was built in the early 19th century by Maharaja Hari Singh on the banks of river Tawi.
The Hari Niwas palace had been renovated in the year 1990, keeping in mind the structure of the ancient palace and the style of Architecture with which it was built. At present, Maharaj Kumar Ajatshatru Singh and Kumarani Ritu Singh, grandson and daughter in law of Maharaja Hari Singh looks after the palace.
Accommodation facilities at the Hari Niwas Palace
Hari Niwas Palace has 40 luxurious rooms. There are suites named after Rajmata, Maharaja, Maharani, Yuvraj and Rajkumari. All these Deluxe rooms have private balconies with a beautiful and spectacular view of the river, valley and the surrounding mountains.
All the rooms are air-conditioned and are tastefully decorated with Victorian furniture. The Rooms come with modern amenities such as satellite TVs, telephones with ISD and STD facilities, well stocked mini bar, tea and coffee maker and much more. The hotel is also equipped with Wi-Fi Internet, Non-Smoking Room, Safe Lockers and Doctor on Call.
The tariff starts from Rs.2600/ to Rs.14500 while the extra bed costs Rs.700.
10% Service Charge is applicable on published room tariff.

Banquet and Conference facilities at Hari Niwas Palace
The Royal Banquet is a hall with modern banqueting facilities, with a capacity of 1500 to 2000 persons in its gardens. The banquet Hall also has a large Durbar hall which can accommodate 300 persons in theatre style seating while The Magnolia and The Chinar are the two party rooms.
