Hotel Sherlock, located at 2.5 kilometers from Ooty Town center, is an isolated heritage bunglow converted in to a beautiful hotel. This was a privately owned summer mansion during the British Raj is now a heritage hotel with a spacious main-interaction area, reading room and an activity space. There are 9 spacious rooms and 2 dining rooms witha sunroof to thaw you.

The menu at the hotel Sherlock boasts of a grand menu and there will be a special dish daily. You can ask thechef for the new dish and taste the dish laced with exquisite herbs and spices. The dining room is named after Irene Adler whom Sherlock holmes had acknowledged once as a perfect woman.
Activities in and around Hotel Sherlock
You can lounge around the mansion doing nothing, or go through Sherlock's life in pictures , books and excerpts. Just take a stroll through the lush lawns, down the hills, explore a tea estate, go horse riding, , fishing ad a jeep ride in to the jungle as well.
You can go for trekking if you are adventurous type to the tallest point in the whole of Tamilnadu, or just like hike to all the destinations in around coonoor and ooty.
