Murugan Idly shop at Besant Nagar was started in the year 2004. With three halls, one is non air conditioned and the other is air conditioned, this place is full all the time. The place is located near the besant nagar beach and one can enjoy hot idlies and tasty sakkarai pongal whenever you go to the beach. The ambience in the non-airconditioned hall is not so as expected.

Bad: The service
Yet another restaurant that looks ordinary but has fantastic food – and that is what ultimately matters! Easy to locate in Besant Nagar as it is just across from a Church, it has car parking space at its doorstep. Four of us headed there after picking up my niece from St. John School. We arrived at around 4p.m. and when we walked in, the staff was sweeping the floors. Not a promising start!
