Researchers at the Nebraska University have succeeded in manufacturing fabrics made from the yarns of Maize husk.
Researcher Yin Yang as a result of his intense and dedicated research was able to make yarn from maize husk. To help the peasants who plant maize earn more from their produce he started this research.
Every year twenty million ton maize is produced in America, the husk obtained from this can be used to make two million tons of yarn. For making a single T-shirt, you may need three pounds of husk.
The fabric will be eco friendly and shall add to the farmers profits.
