Being a hot body, I first stumbled upon Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturising Creme, whilst desperately searching for a "foundation" that I could comfortably wear during the summer months, without either looking over done or feeling like my skin was suffocating. Ive always been a fan of Nivea products. I just love the smell. My Nan used to use it and it seems to have a timeless quality. So having exhausted the aisles looking for the perfect summer foundation and fast discovering there isnt such a thing, I was curious when I spotted this Tinted Moisturiser in amongst the Nivea range.
Could this be the answer, I thought. Id tried tinted moisturisers before and they had either streaked, had not been easily absorbed or they just didnt give a decent colour. Being the kind of girl I am, I bought some anyway, figuring that I had a good track record with Nivea products so I may be in luck. And I was not disapointed!
Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturising Creme goes on like a dream. It comes in three colours, light, medium and dark. And if these still arent quite right you can add some of your usual moisturiser to lighten the colour to your own preference. Although, this creme is wonderfully light and readily absorbed it gives a great, lasting colour. I use the dark shade in summer and it really intensifies my tan. The effect it has is to leave your skin looking dewy and radiant. And it lasts.
Along with great coverage and a feeling that your skin can still breath, this tinted moisturising creme contains UV filters, Vitamin E and light reflective pigments, so its bang up to date on skin safety aspects and you also get that fashionable glow that everybody wants to achieve at the moment. Its also dermatologically approved and can be used regardless of whether your skin type is oily or dry, just either use alone for oily skin, or pre-moisturise for excessively dry skin.
For best application apply in small dots to your face, smoothing with your fingertips, working upwards and outwards blending towards your neck and ears. which may seem a little expensive but a little goes a long way. You will find this little beauty at branches of Boots, Superdrug and most major chemists. Enjoy!
