The Hotel is located South goa is lovely and peaceful if you are looking for quiet and romantic place this is it.
The hotel is time share club hotels which also alots rooms for outsiders. The reception area was good and my checking was quick.we were also served the welcome drink. The hotel is well maintained and very beautiful.It has got lots of trees and plants. The path ways to reach the rooms are also nice. The resort has in all 3 swiming pools.1 just overlooking the reception and sitting area and the other which is 3 level is just a minute away.
The hotel as a nice gym a Ayurved/Spa center some small shops etc.
Overall the hotels was very beautiful.
There is also a private entrance a small bridge towards the beach wherin they have a security which checks the in/out time of guests staying at the hotels.
There are 2 shacks outside the resort on the beach
1)Glorios
2)Glosant
Both are good and one can try eating there as well.
The room
We stayed in the superior room which was loaded with fridge,water heater,microwave,tea making machine and stuff(It was complimentary),Cutellary,TV , cupboard,sofa chairs balcony with extra chairs,Stand for putting wet cloths in balcony and lot more .Almost every thing which you might ask for.
All rooms are central AC rooms wherin the AC temp can also be adjusted.
The restaurant
The resort has a bar called unwindings,a pool side bar which also serves light snacks in the evening.3 restaurant tamara,Waterfield and seasonal Dune shacks which operated between October and May.This is located toward the beach and is on the sands.
Kids and childrens
There is a fun zone for kids which have TT,carrom,chess,Playstations,books,TV.Pool tables etc to keep kids entertaining .Some of them are chargable.Each evening there are fun events like cricket,housie etc.
There are some water sports on the varca beach which costs a bit more that other places so try to bargain hard you might get a good deal.
Food
The food was good in the breakfast as well as dinner.The chef himself comes to check with the people about the quality of the food and ask them whether its made as per their requirement.
Final verdict
Its good for family with kids as they will love the swiming pool and the kids zones.
For couples its a romantic place and varca beach is very nice and hardly anyone there to disturb you.You can be all for yourself.Varca is far from the happening places like Panjim,Calangute,Baga etc so be ready to travel a good 50 Kms to reach there one way.
