Review: A normal but an abnormal speaker system
Review By: Priya    Review Date: 10 Feb 2009

I was speaking to one of my friend. He was more interested in electronics. Whenever there is a new product in the mobile phone market or in the laptop market he will get into researching it. I wanted to buy a laptop for my husband and wanted to get his opinion on the best. He told me about various laptops and their advantages and disadvantages. I told him that my husband is a music lover and so which ever one perform the best output would like to get it for him. He told that sound output even though depends on the software and the attached speakers in the laptop the best would be to get an external speaker.

I said thats ok we have a regular desktop speaker at home using which he can listen. He told me forget all those. Have you heard of BOSE speakers?, he asked me. I said yeah my husband has an affinity towards it and has done a good research even. He started explaining about the BOSE Companion 2 Series. Bose Companion 2 looks like all other computer speakers. But when you connect it to the laptop you can experience the digital sound. He gave an example, in a music concert normally you will be able to hear the base sound of a drums or the casio playing. But these speakers picks up the minute sound played using the smallest instrument and delivers in the best quality.

When you are playing an DVD which is encoded with 5.1 channel digital sound, it will come closer to delivering the experience. Why I am saying closer is because of the presence of only two speakers. Even a TV cant deliver 5.1 Channel. You would require a home theater for that. But these speakers deliver them much closer to real time. You might search for the three other hidden speakers.

The volume control is separately available in the speaker. So, incase you require a higher volume or reduce the volume you can use it no need to go to the computer everytime. Also the provision for a head phone is available.

He finished thats the power of these speakers and more than that you can connect to your computer and also to a MP3 player and listen to which one you want. I was sitting just dumb.

Review: Useful info on companion speaker system

Hi, I am new to hear about this companion multimdeia speaker system. When we see the features it sounds good, also it has a magnetic shield which is an added advantage for speakers generally. The headphone jack and second connection availability are more enhancing the product. So this can greatly improve its usage with several type of systems. The automatic tonal adjustments system proves the artificial intelligence involved in the system. Now a days the systems with artificial intelligence that is able to adapt according to the surrounding and the sensing is greatly recommended.
