The Samsung Solar Guru is an exciting idea, as it harnesses the energy of the Sun for its operation. This is a wonderful mobile to use if you are located in a city or town where constant power cuts are the norm or you are in a remote place where there is no facility to charge the battery. This very feature, though, goes against it - since it is dependent on the Sun, it is a useless mobile to have when the heavens open up. Anyway, lets have a look at this sunny gadget.
At first glance, the Samsung Solar Guru looks thicker than most mobile phones, due to its special panel that harnesses solar energy. Nevertheless, the other features are good, especially the nice keypad - you are not likely to hit a wrong key as the keys are spaced out well. The 3.86cm (1.52) LCD provides comfortable viewing of menus and text.
The FM radio is fairly good and there are some games too. One of the really good features is the Mobile tracker. This feature automatically sends an SMS to a specific number set in advance when your mobile is lost or stolen and the SIM card is replaced.
Specifically for customers in India, the Samsung Solar Guru also incorporates various religious prayers and wall papers.
All in all, the Samsung Solar Guru is value for money if you happen to stay in a region where is plenty of sunlight - this sunny gadget will then definitely be worth purchasing.
