Cheap and best Kerala food is this restaurants main theme. This is located near Music Academy in TTK Road. As this place is in the first floor of a building and is not easily visible from outside. The entire restaurant is run by a family and the atmosphere is absolutely homely because of that. They serve food both in air conditioned and non airconditioned room, but if you are going there for a peaceful lunch then it is better to choose the a/c room. Better be a bit early or a bit late to find an empty table be it for lunch or for dinner. This restaurant is packed full in the peak hours.
The food served here is typical Kerala and you will find it with a more than normal oil, more than normal spicy. So if you have an aversion towards these things, better avoid this place. Though they serve vegetarian food also, it is better for the vegetarians not to visit this place as the veg food is not up to the mark of expectation. But if you relish non-veg then dont hesitate to step in. The food is quite cheap and you wont be worried of burning your purse even if you order a second helping. The food portions that are served are quite sufficient and my friends comment is I will come here again for the special Kerala Parathas and Fish Curry.
