Review: Master design - Xperia pro prince
Review By: Safvan P    Review Date: 01 Jun 2011

Sony Ericson is known for the craftsmanship in their design and simplicity. I am a stubborn lover of their ‘cuteness' in the phone. When they produced their xperia big brother it was a revelation, even today it persists to an extent. It was an appreciable thought from Sony Ericson to bring out technically somewhat equivalent small brothers – Sony Ericson mini, Sony Ericson mini pro to the actual xperia. Today Xperia is a well-known royal family with versatile members – some sportspersons like xperia play and beauty queens like xperia arc. Here let's have a close look at the design and features of smart Xperia mini pro when it came to the users. (If you have talk of mini no doubt that everything dilutes in its design!!)

I have friends who only bought the xperia's just because of its specially curved back – apart from the looks this shape gives a good grip to our hand. You may think the QWERTY keypad difference for ‘pro' from the ‘mini' was much easier for the Sony team. But one can find real hard work behind this phone too. There is a slight increase in size for xperia mini to 90 mm in length, keeping the thickness somewhat same Sony Ericson have reshuffled the connectivity slots in the case. Metal and black mixed design and main buttons remain the same. Additionally provided QWERTY keypad is a side sliding one. Buttons are like small bubbles (I won't say it perfect!). Text input especially messaging is pretty easy now in this small phone (don't think that you can write novels on this keypad…!). Coming to the performance and media section of the phone it is just superb (even better than the xperia mini). Sony's 5 MP is always better than any other companies 5 MP – the camera clarity and photo details are stupendous. Video recording in a high rate and superior resolution gives you above level experience. Mp3 player and audio output makes this phone complete as an entertainment phone. It is also quite ok to watch movies!( small screen is a constrain but smooth playback even for HD videos is a superior feature of this phone). Supersmooth touch and customization options are amazing, similar to that in ‘mini'.

Basic phone requirements (you can't even joke that phones are not have a call!) are also good .Voice quality during calls is good with a decent 930mAh Li-Po battery (here the battery is user replaceable, thank god!) in Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro.

In short The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro has all the good for who love design and multimedia – a strong contender in this category.
