Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore Review

I watched this movie on Saturday at Big cinemas, Vashi and let me tell you I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fun and entertaining. Especially my kid had a great time watching it. And above all, being a 3-D film adds magic to it. For my kid this been one of his first 3 – D film, that he actually understood made wonders. He clapped and at times got scared when the cat would stare scarily at him. Now that's a 3 – D experience! Truly fascinating.

But the fact remains unchanged, that we had to wait too long for this sequel. I mean I didn't really remember the first part to get related to this part. The first part of this movie was released in 2001, that is around 9 years ago and that I believe is long time back.

But still, I believe one should watch this movie forgetting the part that it is actual a sequel. Because that makes it more entertaining. The best part about this movie is that it does not take the same story further r doesn't at all make you think of its original part. The story is totally refreshing and worth watching.

The Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is been directed by Brad Peyton and the music is been given by Christpoher Lennertz. The film is about a cat, Kitty Galore, who happens to be the former Agent of MEOWZ. Kitty's has been voiced by Bette Midler. It seems that she is pushed in to taking revenge by a dog that had permanently removed out her fur and made her look terrible.

Out in vengeance, Kitty is all set to tarnish the image of dogs in the eyes of the pet owners, who have been considering dogs as man's best friend for ages. She is sick of this title and wants to put an end to this relationship between dogs and mankind.

Kitty's plans are to be foiled by the DOGZ agency who decides to recruit a new member, Diggs in their team for this mission along with their best member Butch, who is voiced by Nick Nolte. Diggs, voiced by James Marsden, is a cop dog, who messes up his job and is put back in a kennel. Butch and Diggs are to team up with a feline member, Catherine, voiced by Christina Applegate keeping their differences behind. The additional member of this team is in fact a pigeon Peek, voiced by Joe Pantoliano. Peek is shown as a one-winged, cute little pigeon that is humorous and witty.

The movie has a James Bond theme and the visual effects are fantastic. Though it seems that the movie is targeted for kids, I believe that this movie is really worth watching once by people of all age groups.

The movie is overall a total fun to watch. There are few comic scenes, like one at the end when Kitty falls into a Candy floss maker, or the other scene when Diggs is surrounded by a litter of kittens and the way they play and tickle him. It's real good.

I would definitely suggest that one should watch it only in theaters to enjoy it thoroughly. Pirated CDs won't help at all.
