Since I have great faith and trust in Videocon Brand Name, I naturally chose the Kenstar Karishma Multi Processor MF 0808 , when I decided to purchase a new food processor last week.
On April 3, 2009 I purchased model no. MF 0808, Set Serial No. 181108005257 from M/s M. K. Enterprises, 177,Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi 110023 vide their reciept no. 40/3990.On April 4, the companys sales service person paid a visit for demonstration and explained us all the operations. At that time when we pointed to the noisy motor of the processor, the service person told us that this noise is normal and will go away in a few days, when the machine will be put to regular use.
This morning when we decided to use the processor for grinding a handful of cashews and raisins, we realized saw somesmoke coming out of the machine. Soon our kitchen was full of burning smell and smoke from the machine. We immediately switched off the machine and lodged a complaint vide complaint no. DEL 0604090009 at 8.45 AM on April 6, 2009.
5. We are really disappointed that putting so much trust in Videocon brand name, will lead us to such frustration on the very first day of using the food processor.
We are really concerned and disturbed over the fact that when we brought the issue of a noisy motor on the day when a service person visited us for demonstration, why he ignored our concern and didnt address the issue in the right spirit.
