As the name suggests it is a black storm, a very elegantly designed touch screen smartphone. The screen is 3.2 inches large and there is only onscreen keyboard. As the phone is inbuilt with lots of latest technologies, it is quite heavy. The colour screen is highly user friendly and it could be rotated depending upon the feature used. The fonts of the phone are resizable according to the users taste. The organiser and the calender feature of this mobile are highly interactive and the GPS that is enabled in the phone works in sync with the Blackberry maps application.
A 3G quadband phone allows the user to do multi tasks, the user could surf the net while attending a call. This also provides faster internet connectivity and high speed data transfers. This Blackberry Storm is made to be compatible with social networking sites like Facebook®, MySpace® etc. The phone is capable of sending emails, instant messages to its contacts apart from making calls and sending text messages. The battery life of this blackberry of quite huge, it gives 5.5 hours of talk time.
