Sorry for the juvenile review title, but theres really no other way to put into words the frustration that I have experienced from trying to work with this stupid thing.
I have been looking for a reasonably priced duplex ADF scanner for some time now, I want to scan a file cabinet of documents and shred the originals. I thought this HP was it, it isnt. It is one of the essential equipments in an office. It can do multi pages scanning. The Software is included and dirvers also included.
It can also do other functions like copy, e-mail and print. It can be used to scan even photographs, negatives, slides etc. It can be saved in any format. In one minute it can scan upto 8 pages or four images.

HP Scanjet 5590 has high resolution to scan papers. It is really flexible to use in different ways like text enhancing and USB port. Its software's helps to get preview and saves with required destination. HP is good brand. Scanning with color papers a lot size but that can be also adjusted here. Scanning takes small time and does automatic procedure to scan. Using it in cleaning environment and maintained condition gives good results and can be continued for 6-8 years.
