I rated Anurag kashyap (director of this movie) in A class directors who like to present something different and interesting.
Movie is very exciting in the start, story is good and direction is top class.Performance given by actors are also superb.
Story has college politics as highlight which is shown in many movies earlier but this story has everything about college life .This movie highlights how a student get into politics,how ragging effect students life.

Last friday, we planned to watch Gulaal. Well, apart from the story line, the other most credulous thing about the movie is its ensemble cast. the only famous star, Kay Kay shines with his aggressive attitude perfectly. The main protagonist makes a stark resemblance with the innocence of supermans parallel life as a worker newspaper company. Overall, the movie is pretty heavy, engrossing and brain-consuming. Songs were very motivative and energitic.
