Good: idly podi, sakkarai pongal Bad: cramped place
This branch of Murugan Idli Kadai/shop is the first one to be opened in Chennai. The ambience was good. The taste of Pongal and Kichidai are too good. But if you go there to taste the idlies, you will find 6 small pieces in your plate surrounded by a vareity of chutneys (they serve almost 16 different vareities of chutneys) and a cup of sambar. Their idly podi is always a great hit. They serve very promptly and one should be able to force themselves to find a seat as this place is quite cramped.
