Mahabodhi temple complex
It is declared as UNESCO world heritage site in 2002. The next to the Mahabodhi temple is the Holy Budhi tree, under which Gautam Buddha is said to have achieved enlightenment.
Falgu River
It is a sacred river of Hindus passed by the side of the Bodh Gaya. Falgu river is formed by the Junction of the two hill streams Lilajan and Mohana. The junction is just two liles away from Bodh Gaya. The Hindu mythology said that Sita who was wife of Lord Rama had cursed the river and due to this curse the river lost its water.
