This is a self contained multi day river adventure which is in the Alaknanda river The trip starts from the base at the ganges river vear Rishikesh a pilgrim town and the launch will be from the town Chamoli and the end will be at Rudraprayag. This will be a descend of about 70 kilometers of a classic river run negotiating over 85 class 3-4 rapids. this is actually a 165 kiloneters and 6 hours trip through Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Nandprayag to reach Kaidubagarh situated above Alaknanda on the road to Badrinath. This is one of the most exciting river runs of Himalayas which takes you through thick forests and deep gorges, cascading white water foaming rapids and starry nights makes this expedition a truly memorable one. Itenerary of the Alaknanda River rafting Expedition ( 5 nights and 6 days)
Day 1 - you will leave Delhi by Shatapthi Express at 6.55 am in the morning and reach Hardwar at about 11.30 am and checked in to the camp Silver Sands . The Camp is situated on the sandy beach of the banks of the river ganges where the briefing will take place about the activities as well as about the trip to follow.A short run to Shivpuri will be held to get everyone familiarized with padding commands and safety techniques. You will return to the camp for tea and snacks and have camp fire, barbeque, dinner and stay the night at the camp. 
Day 2 - The early morning will see you on the drive to Kaidubagarh while stopping enroute at the confluences of the two rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi which meet to form Ganga. You will check into the guest house as soon as reach Kaidubagarh. You will get your personal kit ready and stay the night at the guest house.
Day 3 - You will drive to Chamoli early in the mornig and begin the river run after the safety check. You will raft 30 kilometers through about 40 rapids including a possible portage at Hillary fall. Then float back to Kaidubagarh and stay the night in the guest house. 
Day 4 - Today you will raft from kaidubagarh to gauchrm rafting down a series of nearly 20 class 3 rapids over a 4 hour day. You will be camping at gauchar for the night which is located at bout 7 kilometers upstream of the confluence of the river Alaknanda with Pindar at Karnaprayag. 
Day 5 - Today you will raft till you are below rudraprayag for about 5 hourscovering 30 kilometers of Class 3 and 4 rapidsincluding a portage at kakar falls. After that drive back to the valley to arrive the camp Silver sands for dinner and stay the night at the camp. 
Day 6 - Leisure time and relaxing for the morning. Post lunch you will be transferred to Hardwar from where you will board Shatapthi ti reach Delhi, The arrival at Delhi will be around 10.30 pm. Here the unforgettable and once in a life time trip comes to an end. Payment Details
