Eligibility Criteria for HDFC Bank Loan against Gold

There are only 2 basic eligibility requirements for applying for HDFC Bank Loan against Gold. Firstly, your age should not be over 65 years. Secondly, the gold jewellery against which you are taking the loan should be your own or it should be owned by a family member. You cannot take a loan against gold owned by your friends or colleagues!

It is also important to note that you should not take the loan against gold for buying shares or for indulging in gambling activities or any anti-social activities.

1. Two photographs (passport size only)
2. Any proof of identity: this could be a copy of your passport, your driving license or your voter's ID card.
3. Any proof of address: this could be a copy of your passport, your ration card, any bill having your address (such as telephone bill), your shop license, etc.
4. Proof of your signature: this could be a copy of your passport, your driving license, a cancelled cheque, or signature verification document from your Bank.
