This laptop is from the series of laptops of ASUS Eee. This series is mainly based on the size( As small as it can get). ASUS Eee PC 901 is yet another good laptop which is really portable and light to carry which can be carried in your pocket. It has 1GB memory and very small hard disk space only 11GB because it is only for surfing internet and making documents. It is really really light weight of only 2.4 lbs!

I am using this this laptop since last year. when I joined my college I was in need of a laptop for class purpose.so bought this. what ever the experience i had during these periods of time. I am telling you totally.
The good thing in this laptop
The most impotent thing in this laptop that I loved too much is much-improved battery life. There is too much power cut my area and this battery is supporting me too much.Apart from that mouse and quick-launch buttons are very interesting. I need to carry my laptop to college so I bought a highly portable laptop. i can carry it to my college without any problem.

The bad things that I could notice in my laptop
It has a brother Eee 900 which is slightly smaller than 901 so it looks as if it is little big.price of the is creeping up to the full-size laptop range.

The bottom line of the laptopThere is always a competition in the market so this Asus is facing competition with other similar product from HP, Dell and from MSI.But one thing that I will say that the Asus Eee PC 901 is the best version of this inexpensive Netbook yet.

Processor: Intel Atom (1.6 GHz)
RAM installed: 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM
Weight: 2.4 lbs not so high so i can carry it freely.
I will highly recommend this product but you can also see its competitor in the market as they have also same features as it have.

Pros: Great weight and shape. Boots up surprisingly fast.

Cons: The 12GB 901 has two 4GB and 8GB hard drives. The XP operating system is installed on the 4GB drive. As a result, as soon as Windows updates, the C: drive fills up and you get low space warnings for the C: drive, and the drive becomes sluggish.
Summary: There is no way for the user to install the operating system on the larger drive. Why they split it up into two drives is beyond me. Definitley a big design flaw. If it wasnt for this serious shortcoming, the 901 would be a home run out of the park.

This computer was the perfect size and weight for me. But I have reluctantly decided to return this to Costco becuase of the small 4GB C: drive filling up when windows is updated. I recommend that the operating system be put on the 8GB drive, or better yet, install a single 12GB drive.

Bad: The long-awaited Asus Eee PC 901 is the best version of this inexpensive Netbook yet, but its facing increased competition from the likes of HP, Dell, and MSI.
