There are love stories and then there are more love stories. This story is a refreshing tale of Geet (Kareena Kapoor), a talkative, bubble lass who is on his journey from Mumbai to her home town Bhatinda and later plans to elope with the man she loves. Geet meets Aditya (Shahid Kapur), a heart broken young, silent, immersed in thoughts kinda serious guy who is sitting in the same train unknown of his destination as he is too caught up with his recent heart break
When Geet begins to irritate Aditya beyond a point, Aditya decides to leave the train. Geet attempting to get him back, follows him out of the train and eventually misses the train. Aditya is now stuck with Geet who piles on to him insisting that he drop her at Bhatinda. An interesting and fun journey follws till Bhatinda
When the couple reach Geet's home, they are mistaken as lovers by Geet's parents. Geet decides to elope to be with her lover and insists that Aditya leave with her so that her family is convinced that she has eloped with Aditya
Aditya believes that Geet is on her way to her love destination and leaves for Mumbai as a new, more empowered Aditya. He does well and begins to appear on TV. Geet's relatives track him down and then question him about Geet's whereabouts. Its then that Aditya understands that Geet has not reached home
Aditya takes it upon himself to track Geet down and goes to meet her lover. He then finds her and then starts another refreshing journey of togetherness to Bhatinda
The film has excellent performances from a sponmtaneous Kareena and a good-looking Shahid. Pritam's music score has the audience enjoying a few very good numbers' with the overall music being extremely refreshing. A colourful delight, this film leaves a feel-good feeling with the audience
