Nokia 8800 Review An innovative designed from Nokia is this 8800 Sirocco. This phone is a slider phone which is sleek and looks simply great. The phone is very thin and it easily fits into ones pocket. But for the thinness of this phone, it is quite heavy due to its stainless steel casing. The screen of the phone is of a high resolution which allows the user to read the screen even in bright sunlight. The blue tooth facility allows the user to have a wire free connection with compatible devices. The camera of the phone is SVGA, which allows the user to take clear pictures. But with all these features, the key pad of the phone is quite cramped and if the person is used to have a quite moderate key pad will definitely find it hard to use. In the closed position, the keypad is not visible at all and any one could mistake it not to be a cell phone. The camera of the phone is located at the top rear and is top rear and gets visible and active when the phone is open. The phone is not enabled with flash or self portrait mirror and so is the dedicated key. One have to activate the camera only through the various menu options. But there is a option to customize the right soft key to be the dedicated button for the camera. The camera of this high end phone is mere 0.5Mp camera which is very basic for a high end phone like this. The camera allows the user to take both still and videos and the pictures taken are of two sizes with three quality setings. The camera allows 74 mins of non-stop video taking. The media player of the phone is of a high quality which allows the user to listen to all formats of music and also to stream videos. The FM tuner of the phone does not require a headset to tune the stations. The speaker phone allows the user to listen to their favourite music apart from having hands free conversations. The phone is customizable with variety of wall papers, screen savers and themes and ring tones. The phone book of the phone is enabled to enter 5 numbers, email, web and postal address and notes and it could be added with a photo and fancy ring tones. The phone supports AAC and MP3 ring tones. The mobile wallet application allows the user to store credit card numbers etc and it could be protected using a password. The phone is also enabled with voice memo. The battery life of the phone is 4 hours which is quite normal for a high end phone.
