Well, Farhan as well as Konkana has done well in this movie. Movie is nice but its too long, it seems. This movie is all about the inside story of film industry. It is a story of an aspiring actor Vikram (Farhan Akhtar) who comes from Delhi to Mumbai to make it big in films. Sona Mishra (Konkona Sen Sharma) has been struggling for more than a couple of years. She is not successful so she wants a good chance in the film for a big role. We can see in this movie, takes us into the world of Bollywood and the strugglers who are vying to become part of the glamour industry. How Farhan achieve his goal and by chance how his luck favoured is all about this movie. Movie is well executed.

Luck by chance is all about Bollywood story. Its a story about the world of dreamy-eyed strugglers. I like the movie. Farhan Akhtar is playing (Vikram), a struggling actor who leaves his dad's flourishing business in Delhi to try his luck in films. Similarly, (Sona)Konkona Sen Sharma is a girl from Kanpur who has been doing odd roles in films with the hope that a big break – promised by an exploitative producer – awaits her. She has been struggling in mumbai too. Two strugglers met there and fall in love and this is how movie goes on. Vikram gets his big break, while Sona faces failure. The incredibly talented Konkona is superb as ever. Well, movie is nice, entertaining and flourising with stars.

Movie was average.All artist performed well.Songs are not that good.Listen just for one time.Farhan did well but romantic does not suit him.Konkona Sen did well acting.Best part of movie that involving all the bollywood artist gives glamorous.Story is good.Totally entertaining and can be watched with family.

I watched this movie recently. As compare to Victory, this movie is ok. Luck By Chance is just like Rangeela or to some extent Om Shanti Om takes you right into the true to life functioning of the Hindi film world. This movie concludes that we each have a hand in determining our own destiny. Farhan Akhtar and Konkona Sen Sharma play the 20-something lovers looking for a break in a movie that is less a spoof than an affectionate homage. The behind-the-scenes look at the worlds largest film industry is gently humorous but almost totally lacking in the cynicism, self-hatred and ennui that characterizes inside-Hollywood flicks.
