Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals location
Apopllo Gleneagles is situated at a very well-connected site, that is 58, Canal Circular Road at EM Bypass which takes a mere 15 minutes road time from Netaji Subhas Chandra Airport. So patients from entire eastern region can avail the first hand experince of the famous chain of Hospitals in India.
My experience with Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Kolkata:
Daycare of Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals: Daycare unit is for outdoor patients who can consult their choosen consultants in a very healthy atmosphere. Each section has separate space for patients to get relaxed while waiting for their turn. And each and every consultation suite has enough privacy, and facilties.
Doctors at Apollo Gleneagles: Doctors are great at day care and during consultation and will also provide you help through phone consultsation during the period you are going under treatment.
Main hospitals of Apollo Gleneagles: However my experience with main hospitals are not vey good. I was admitted for four days. And during the most crucial moment you may not get you own consultant doctor. However you will be attented by other doctors, but I dont think that is a good thing. During my childbirth i was attended by a doctor who was not experienced enough, and was waiting in a nervous mood at my side. For anyone with weaker nerves than mine would have collapsed I am sure!
But excluding this one I had always good care and treatment from the team of Doctors and nurse in Apollo gleneagles.
Lab Facilities of Apollo Gleneagles, Kolkata: Make sure to collect the phone numbers of each and every lab technician so that you can call then to collect samples for your home itself. yes, this is a very good facility of Apollo gleneagles. And also collecting numbers will make sure that the lab is not closed on that particular day. Especially during Durga Puja festivels I have experinced that most units work with minimum working persons.
Summary of review Apollo Gleneagles: Make sure you have enough money or your company sponsors your visit to Apollo Hospital, or you have a Medical Insurance. Otherwise you will get back to quite a few thousands for any disease. Because,once you get admitted you will loss count of the number of recommended exams like ECG,USG, X-ray, or blood tests etc.
