The Ganges Review This is the restaurant of Komalas that offers buffet lunch and dinner. They never serve you unless you have booked the hall for party. The place have been serving both north Indian and south Indian food spread. Two different type of soups, 3 different varities of salads, you get a different type of pulav or fried rice, either naan or roti or phulka. Apart from Onion Raitha/ Cucumber Raitha, they serve you three different types of side dish. One made of gobi, one made of paneer and the third one is different every other day. Then you have the noodles with two different types of chinese sauce gravies along with Veg Pakora in chinese style. In the south Indian spread, you get white rice and Rasam and the rasam is different every other day. Sambar rice and curd rice is a must and you get pickles for the curd rice and potato curry and another curry for the sambar rice.
You have to fill up the vadams and fryums when you go for the salads.
At the end, you get two different types of sweets and two different types of ice creams. All these comes at a very nominal price of Rs. 135 per head.
The ambience is quite and calm and if you want to give a grand party for your family or friends, this is the best place. Most of the time, if you go for the second time, you might find the same line of food spread which you had in the first time.
