Slumdog Millionaire (2008) Review
The movie is good , but not the best of its kind. A lot more real movies which had a hidden message were made in India. But the movies were not considered for the Oscars. Even if they made for the Oscars they did not recieve the awards. I personally dont consider the song "Jai Ho" as ARs best. A.R has given the best in movies like Bombay, Roja, Criminal, recently Delhi6...... and the list will go on and on. He deserved a Oscar since Roja, So this was just a formality. The films story is not the best reality of india. If the same story would have been made and directed in India, I doubt whether it would have worked at the box-office like this one. It is not that we lack best directors. But the Domestic factor downgrades the movie.
