K-Lite Codec Pack Full 4.2.5 Review Okay, another codec pack like many others but this one has a slightly greater number of codecs, the only parts where I found thic pack lacking is the exclusion of support for Quicktime and realmedia files (earlier versions, say 1.4.3 supported these formats). Otherwise this codec pack had it all and you wouldnt really need to install anything else. The good: * Bundled software, namely Media player classic, Gspot codec information tool, bitrate calculator etc. * Most options for the casual user can be set up during installation. * Almost every video and audio file supported. * Great codec configurabiltiy for advanced users. The bad: 1) No bundled support for Quicktime and realmedia files (read Quicktime alternative and real alternative (seperate reviews for both will be posted shortly)). Overall if you have different types of media formats on your computer you should install this software.
