The creative Zen stone pus comes with a 2GB storage and it is has no screen. It is just a MP3 player and not a MP4. It is very tiny (3/4th of an inch). The player comes in 6 different colours black, blue, green, pink, red and white. They have a buit in loop to hang around the nect and a mini usb port and a reset button. The headphone jack is normal 3.5mm and it is located on the top. The five way control pad is situated near the round screen. The centre button act as a select key. The pause/play button is located seperately on the top edge of the device. The key to this function is a rocker. One half of the rocker also acts as a shortcut key. The design is very basic and the player is cute and pocket friendly. The drawback of this player is, though you have stored the songs in folders when browsed through the first song of the folder starts playing. This player makes a great gym companion as you could hang the player in your belt or even wear it as a watch adding additional accessories. The armband(additional accessory costing extra) also acts as a watchband for the clock and stopwatch.
The player have different playback settings and the songs could be shuffled or repeated. There are five preset EQs and fiveband custom EQs along with a bass boost button. The inbuilt mic supports voice recording. The songs could be dragged and dropped or added using Rhapsody or Windows Media Player.
The player includes a FM tuner with autoscan and 32 preset slots to add or edit the stations of choie. The player also has a clock and stopwatch. Using the wrist band accessory one could use the player as a wristwatch too.
The headphones that comes with the player is good. But can do better. But in general the sound is quite good. The battery of this could be charged through the USB cable and it lasts for 9.5 hours.
