 | | The smallest of the blackberry smartphone is this Blackberry pearl 8100. It is the smallest and lightest weighing smart phone. too and allows the user to oeprate single handedly. The handset is polished at the edges and this gives the blackberry pearl a distinctive and glamorous look.
The usual smartphone capabilities work with this phone and along with it it works as a normal phone too. The phone allows the user to send and recieve emails, browse the net and also could be used as a modem too.
The screen is quite large and it comes with high resolution which is light sensitive so it works quite well according to the situation. The screen adjusts itself to the indoor and outdoor and gives a great viewing experience. The keyboard is a QWERTY one that allows the user to type the messages and mails with ease.
The HTML browser that comes with the phone allows the user to view the websites with ease. The internet could be surfed just the way one would surf using their computer. The phone is inbuilt with 64MB flash memory which could be expanded upto 1 GB so data storage is made easy. The GPRS and EDGE technology provides faster data transfer and the bluetooth connects the device with other compatible devices. The wifi helps connect to the web in hotspots.
The camera of the phone is a 1.3MP one which is very low for a smart phone. The camera comes with a flash and zoom options and it allows the user to take great photographs. The camera is enriched with a dedicated key which allows easy picture capturing. The camera lens is situated on the back of the device thus allowing the user to take picture horizontally too. The user can take self portraits with ease as a small mirror is situated near the lens. The screen displays bright pictures and so the photos can be used as wall papers or screen saves. The camera allows the user to record and play video footages. The videos can be edited and saved.
The media player of the device allows the user to listen to all types of music formats. The user can listen to their favourite music anywhere anytime. The sound quality is too good and so is the speaker quality. This allows the user to listen to songs without the ear phones. The speakers allows the user to make handsfree calls too.
The phone comes with maps which allows the user to navigate through the places with ease. The phone gives atmost business and personal pleasure. The battery of the phone gives 3.5 hours talk time and 15 days standby time.
This is truly a mobile office that is cute and compact.
