Google Nexus, designed by the Taiwan based HTC, has finally hit the market. The Nexus One has all the features you would expect from a state-of-the-art mobile phone. Standing at dimensions of 119 x 59.8 x 11.5 mm and weighing at 130gms, this phone can take care of all your wants.
Ever since the release of the Google Nexus One a few months ago, it has been the talk of the town especially among smartphone fanatics. Nexus One is an Android phone designed by Google the phone however is produced by the HTC Mobile Manufacturer.look at stunning features of nexus one:
The Nexus One appears to be similar in design with the iPhone. The Android phone has no physical keyboard which results to a slimmer phone. The phone is only 11.5 millimeters thick and it weighs 130 grams.
It runs Android 2.1 on its Snapdragon CPU with 1 GHz capacity and boasts of a 3.7 inch screen display with a 480 x 800 resolution. It has 512MB each of ROM and RAM and comes with a 4GB microSD card which you can choose to expand up to 32 GB.
A stunning 3.7-inch 800 x 480 pixel screen is perhaps the centre piece of the Nexus One. Its AMOLED touchscreen technology makes surfing the internet and viewing videos and photos a pleasurable experience. In fact, it is one of the best android mobile device screens we have ever seen.
The phone will also allow you to connect to the world through its EDGE, GPRS, WiFi aEDGE, GPRS, and 3G connectivity options. With the A-GPS support and Google Maps, finding the shortest and fastest destination will be a piece of cake. Google Nexus also comes with a 4GB microUSB card that can be later on expanded up to 32GB.
The Google Voice is an application incorporated into the phone. It allows users to assign their Google Voice number into the phone for text messages and outbound calls. The Voice Keyboard is an application launched last year.
There are 2 different shades of grey for the Nexus One. On the back portion of the phone is the 5-megapixel camera with flash and a little loudspeaker to the right side. A Google logo can also be found in the middle of the smartphone and the logo of HTC near the bottom.
Live wallpapers with animated backgrounds enables interactive feature with the phone. However, this may entail added consumption to the battery while playing the features of the wallpapers.
The phone also provides predictive text with its built-in dictionary. Theres also the voice-to-text feature that allows users to speak messages for texting into the phone. Google, however, admits that its still not perfectly accurate.
The mobile phone also has noise cancellation feature. The phone has an additional microphone at the back that monitors and cancels noise. The camera is better than the cameras of other phones.
The phone does not have physical buttons except for the trackball, power button and the volume rocker placed on the left side. There are, however, touch buttons affixed at the bottom of the touch screen, the Back, Menu, Home and Search touch buttons.
