This is a special edition of Ipod in collaboration with the rock group U2. The player is a 30GB one with a complete black coloured casing and Red Scroll wheel. The back of the player is enhanced with the signatures of the all the four members of the U2 band, etched in laser. The rear is a silver coloured casing. This player is preloaded with the entire collection of U2s albums and the demos of their unreleased albums. The design is unique and stunning. Like all other ipods this ipod is also very thin.
The LCD screen is very bright. The wonder feature of the phone is fall asleep while listening to music. The battery gives 14 hours of music playback. It holds a huge collection of 7500 songs and 25000 photos and 75 hours of videos (you can store atleast 5 full movies). The head phone is located at the far right.
The player supports MP3, AAC, protected AAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF and Audible audio files. The player includes all the same audio features of iPod. This version of ipod lacks FM tuner. The video player supports H264, MPEG-4, M4V and MOV.
