Nokia started its classic model handsets with this model. This is a very simple handset which allows easy communication and use. The phone comes with easy to use features and it weighs very light when held in hand. The screen is 1.8 inches large which is quite big for a phone of this calibre and the display is very bright and clear. The volume of the phone while taking or making a call can be done using the dedicated keys that are positioned in the side of the phone.
The inbuilt media player is the main attraction of this phone. The user can enjoy video and music playback on their mobile as this phone supports all formats of music and videos. The phone supports mp3, midi, truetone and polyphonic ringtones which could be set with great ease to the various contacts or contact groups.
The web browser is another important feature of this phone. The phone allows the user to send and receive emails and also their attachments. The MMS service enhances message sending. The IM service helps in chatting with other contacts with ease.
The handsfree speaker allows the user to take or make call without actually holding the phone in hand. The push to talk feature makes the phone a walkie talkie. The offline mode feature allows the user to access a list of selected features while in a hospital or in a plane. The organiser feature of the phone is quite useful for those who are on a constant move and need to be reminded of lots of appointmens.
The phone comes with 32MB internal memory and can be expanded using micro SD cards. The phone could be connected to other compatible devices using the USB cable, InfraRed or the Bluetooth connection. The EDGE technology provides the user with high speed data transfer.
Though this phone is enriched with lots of features, the battery gives just 4 hours of talk time and this phone is a triband phone.
