 | | This is something for the gadget lovers and people who can adapt to the latest designs. This internet tablet is the latest from Nokia which comes with a full QWERTY key board and is also enriched with GPS. Ther web browser is very fast and is enriched with Nokia Internet Tablet 2008 operating system. This device is slightly heavy but could fit easily into ones bag or purse. The screen is 4.1 inch QVGA touch screen that gives a pleasurable viewing experience which allows the user to view the web sites, images clearly. The screen is easily viewable and readable in any lighting condition. The user interface is easy to navigate. The screen can be customized with various themes and background images. The different icons could be easily dragged and laid out easily.
The front panel also have the webcam, which is located at the left hand of the screen. A short cut button for the home screen, a back button and a status LED are also present near the webcam. The navigation control pad is located on the front of the device which allows the user to operate the device easily. The stylus allows the user to use the device easily. The screen being a touch screen, gives a great using experience.
The QWERTY keyboard slides out from the bottom of the screen. The screen could be easily locked to use the keyboard with ease. The keys of the keyboard are placed very closely. The toggle button and the menu button are placed on the left side of the keyboard. There is a special button that allows the user to maximize or minimize the screen and a dedicated keys for zoom in or zoom out, a volume rocker, a power button, a lock switch and a stylus. The headphone jack and he power connector are placed on the right spine. The speakers of the phone are placed on both the sides of the device. The memory of the device could be expanded using miniSD card. The memory can be increased upto 8GB. The device could be propped up on a flat surface using the kickstand.
The device is a full fledged internet tablet from Nokia and so there is no cellular technology built in. But to make calls one can use the VoIP features. The user could easily access Google Talk, Skype and Gizmo.
The device is integrated with GPS which allows the user to access the Nokia Maps with ease. The built-in media player allows the user to listen to various music formats and video formats. The transferring of files is very easy and creating playlists are also could be done with ease. The internet radio feature allows the user to listen to the latest tunes and music. The viewing of videos and photos are also a pleasurable experience.
The user can use the phone for continuous 4 hours inclusive of the usage of wifi. The user could listen to 10 hours of music playback.
