These books contain lots and lots of stories which have been told by our grandmothers when we were children.
ramayana, stories as told by Sri Ramakrishna and other folk tales are as intersting as they are valuable.
They inculcate in children the cultural heritage which only India has and ever have.
The stories of great men like Chittaranjan das, Rash behari, Tipu Sultan, Basaveswara and others evoke the patriotic feeling in Children.
These are one of the valuable editions one should have in your household library and to be used as everyday reading aloud books for small kids.
Now that most of the households are nuclear ones these books will be needed as grandmothers are living separately and are not with the kids to tell them, these stories.
