The member of the Pearl Series this smartphone 8110 comes with a lots of communication features and QWERTY keyboard. The handset is very light in weight but feels solid to use. The phone is available in three colours which is also stylish gives a colourful look to this business model. The casing can be chosen between, black, blue or pink (pink is for the business oriented women). The screen of the phone is large that gives a high quality viewing experience. The trackball feature of this phone is something unique which allows the user to navigate through the menus easily. The keyboard helps in high speed typing of emails and messages.
This device is inbuilt with RIM modem which allows the user to gain quick access to the intenet with ease. The wireless email service allows the user to create, send and recieve, reply and forward messages with complete attachments. The phone allows the user to use applications like yahoo messenger and google talk also. The inbuilt GPS allows the user to look at the maps. The doucment viewer helps to view documents in word, powerpoint or excel format.
The phone comes with 64MB inbuilt flash memory which could be expanded upto 8GB using microsd cards. As this is a quadband phone it could be used world wide. The EDGE technology provides the user with high speed data transfer. This is enriched with bluetooth technology which allows the user to enjoy connectivity between compatible devices. The device allows the user to record voices using the inbuilt microphone. The voice dialing features allows the user to simply tell the name of the contact to connect it to that person.
The speakers of this phone allows handsfree experience for both making and taking calls and also to listen to music . The camera which is 2 MP allows the user to take still pictures and videos. The camera is enriched with digital zoom and flash option which allows the user a great photography experience.
The battery of the phone gives four hours of talk time and 15 days of standby time.
